Schuberth C5 Modular Motorcycle Helmet

The Schuberth C5 is the benchmark of Schuberth's modular line, built around safety, comfort, aerodynamics and acoustics. It carries DOT FMVSS No. 218 homologation with a chin bar locking mechanism, comes pre-wired for plug-and-play communication powered by Cardo and Sena, and was developed in the wind tunnel for stability and low noise. Built by hand in Germany, it is a modular touring helmet made for wherever the road goes.

• DFP fiberglass shell reinforced with basalt, Schuberth Direct Fiber Processing for shock absorption strength at a lower weight, in two shell sizes (XS to L, XL to 3XL).
• DOT FMVSS No. 218, a flip-up with a chin bar locking mechanism, and A.R.O.S. (Anti Roll Off System) chin strap positioning for comfort at the throat.
• Quiet by design, wind tunnel development and the neckroll concept bring it to 85 dB(A) at 62 mph on a naked bike, per Schuberth.
• Class 1 visor, distortion free with anti-scratch treatment, Pinlock 120 preinstalled, on the patented visor mechanism with Memory Function.
• Wider view, City Position and the V-lock sun visor mechanism open up the field of view.
• Comms ready, speakers, Mesh, FM radio and Bluetooth antennas are preinstalled in the shell for the Schuberth SC2, SC2 Standard or SC EDGE (sold separately).
• Airflow, double chin air intake with an exchangeable filter, plus a back spoiler with air extractor.
• Interior, dual-density EPS in the central and side areas for shock absorption and more headroom, with OEKO-TEX 100 certified seamless linings and the Schuberth Individual Program for a custom fit.
• Reflective areas, on the wind deflector, neck roll, visor seal and helmet stickers, chin bar open or closed.
• Weight, approx. 1790 g (3.95 lb) in sizes S to L, 1910 g in XL and 2XL.
