Schuberth C5 Carbon Modular Motorcycle Helmet

The C5 Carbon is the iconic Schuberth C5, now in carbon. Developed in the Schuberth Performance facility, its 100% carbon shell is built by the same process as Schuberth's Formula 1 helmets, which gives it exceptional shock absorption and a real weight saving. It is a game changer in modular touring.

• 100% carbon shell, laminated by hand by Schuberth Performance technicians using the same manual lamination and autoclave process as Schuberth's Formula 1 helmets, on a one man, one shell principle with a curing cycle of up to four hours.
• DOT FMVSS No. 218, a flip-up with a chin bar locking mechanism; the chin lock is made in glass fiber reinforced plastic for lower weight and easier handling.
• Light, approx. 1600 g (3.53 lb) in sizes M and L, 1580 g in XS and S, 1770 g in XL to 3XL.
• Quiet by design, the neckroll concept brings it to 85 dB(A) at 62 mph on a naked bike, per Schuberth.
• Visor, Pinlock 120 preinstalled, patented visor mechanism with Memory Function, and an integrated drop-down sun visor on the V-lock mechanism with City Position for a wider view.
• Comms ready, speakers, Mesh, FM radio and Bluetooth antennas are preinstalled in the shell for the Schuberth SC2, SC2 Standard or SC EDGE (sold separately).
• Comfort, new chin strap positioning with A.R.O.S. (Anti Roll Off System) and a double chin air intake with an exchangeable filter.
• Interior, dual-density EPS in the central and side areas for shock absorption and more headroom, with OEKO-TEX 100 certified seamless linings and the Schuberth Individual concept for a custom fit.
• Reflective areas, on the wind deflector, neck roll, visor seal and helmet stickers, chin bar open or closed.
