KLIM X1 Alpha Adventure Motorcycle Helmet

The X1 Alpha is KLIM's flagship adventure helmet, for riders who cover long miles on mixed roads and still want a helmet that works on the dirt. It is DOT and ECE 22.06 certified.

It has four ride modes: ADV, Dual-Sport, Off-Road and Street. The peak visor changes angle on the fly, and comes off and goes back on without tools, and the helmet is goggle compatible. KLIM puts both a clear and a photochromic shield in the box, plus a Pinlock anti-fog insert, all Optical Class 1 with UV400 protection. The shell is hand-laid carbon fiber over a KOROYD and EPS liner that lets air flow through it, which is how KLIM fights heat build-up. Air comes in through two adjustable forehead intakes and two chin vents and leaves through four exhausts. It weighs 1,550 g in size L, closes with a titanium D-ring, has goat leather on the chin skirt and neck roll, and recessed ear pockets for comms speakers.

There are three shell sizes and five EPS sizes across XS to 3XL, and the cheek pads and crown liner come in different thicknesses, so it is easy to get a proper fit. Ours comes in Carbon Matte Black, Gloss Metallic Asphalt - Monument, Gloss Concept Petrol - Strike Orange, Gloss Concept High-Rise - Electric Blue Lemonade, Gloss Hi-Vis - White, Gloss Metallic High-Rise - Monument, Gloss White - High-rise, Matte Peyote - Teak, Quanta Gloss Black - Fiery Red and Quanta Matte Rifle Green - Oil Green.

X1 Alpha or Krios Pro? Both come with a photochromic shield. The X1 Alpha has more shell and EPS sizes (3 and 5 against 2 and 2), infrared shielding on the tinted and photochromic shields, the leather trim and a titanium D-ring. The Krios Pro is lighter (1,450 g), closes with FIDLOCK and is Sena 10U compatible.
