KLIM GT1 Expedition Modular Motorcycle Helmet

The GT1 Expedition is KLIM's modular touring helmet. It is for riders who spend long days on the bike, stop often, and want to flip the chin bar up to talk or drink without taking the helmet off. It is ECE 22.06 and DOT certified.

The chin bar is hand-laid carbon fiber reinforced with EPS and latches on two stainless steel posts; the release button moves the way your hand naturally does. KLIM's own hinge closes the face shield flush to the shell. Inside, the KOROYD and EPS liner lets air pass through to cut heat build-up. You get both a clear and a photochromic shield plus a Pinlock insert, Optical Class 1 even with the Pinlock fitted, with UV400 protection, and the shields come off without tools. Air comes in through an adjustable forehead intake and two chin vents and leaves through four exhausts. It closes with a micrometric quick-release buckle and has recessed ear pockets for comms.

Three shell sizes and five EPS sizes cover XS to 3XL, with cheek pads and crown liners in different thicknesses. Ours comes in Carbon Matte Black, Gloss Metallic Monument, Gloss Metallic Asphalt, Encrypted Gloss Asphalt - Hi-Vis, Encrypted Gloss Black - Redrock and Gloss White.

GT1 or X1 Alpha? Same carbon and KOROYD thinking. The GT1 is the flip-up road tourer; the X1 Alpha has the peak visor and goggle option for dirt.
